About Caper
Caper is a young, sharp, and athletic mixed breed who’s all heart. He was found abandoned alongside his sister, Ginger, but hasn’t let hardship dull his spark. After overcoming a rough start, Caper quickly fit in with an existing pack of four dogs, proving he doesn’t just tolerate others—he thrives around them. At about a year and a half, he’s got the blend of energy and chill most people chase after in a dog: eager to hit the trails when it’s time to be active, but solid company when you’re unwinding at home. His short, striking tricolor coat and expressive face get noticed, but what really stands out is his desire to be part of the pack—yours included. Training comes easy to him since he genuinely wants to impress and connect with his people. If you’re looking for a dog who actually listens, wants to be where the action is, and settles down at your feet when the day’s over, Caper checks all those boxes. Plus, he loves kids and gets along with other dogs, opening up plenty of options for family life. Born November 19, 2022, Caper is a proud Scorpio—headstrong and loyal through and through. He’s house trained, neutered, and up to date with vaccinations, so he’s ready to start his new life. Currently in Port Chester, NY (transport from St. Croix already arranged), Caper just needs someone to take the leap. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
