** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. Thankfully a kind person brought him to us so that he can find the loving, permanent forever home that he deserves. Chalupa has an estimated birthdate of 8/1/25, so he's just seven months old. Despite being let down by humans, he is THE SWEETEST kitten you could hope to meet. He loves to be held and cuddled, and will repay in lots of purrs and headbutts. This boy is kitten perfection to the core. This little lovebug truly cannot get enough cuddles and he reaches out of his cage for as much love and attention as possible! This is really incredible considering that he hasn't always been treated kindly by people. It makes us sad to think about this sweetheart being abandoned like he was, but we sure our grateful that he is safe now and one step closer to the loving forever home that he deserves. He really is one of the sweetest kittens that you will ever meet and he has a world class purr motor to boot! Chalupa has met other cats since coming to us, and he is very interested in them and wants to spend time with them. We think that he would do wonderfully in a home with other kitties, or even a home where he gets to soak up ALL of the love! He hasn't met any dogs since being at the shelter, but considering his young age and sweet nature, he would likely do fine with a cat-friendly, gentle dog.
