About Marshmellow
** In order to adopt an un-spayed kitty from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitty and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay surgery. You may need to bring the kitty back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay surgery** This is the cutie patootie, known as Marshmellow. Sweet Marshmellow came to us as a stray kitty and brought in by a kind person who didn't want to see her get injured, or worse. This adorable girl has an estimated birthday of 2/5/24, so she's about 2 years young. Marshmellow has the sweetest disposition and loves everyone that she meets. And look at that impossibly adorable face! Marshmellow is a mostly laid back girl who never makes much of a fuss. She is one of the first, furry little greeters that will meet you when you come visit Kitty Corner at the shelter. She roams free with other kitties, and she gets along well with most of them, but will also let them know if she doesn't like something. Even though she's done well at the shelter, she is ready to fly the coop and find her permanent forever home! She loves to take cat naps on warm, fuzzy blankets, and to stare out the window, in hopes of seeing an occasional bird outside. Marshmellow is also into yoga, and perfecting her downward dog pose. Check out that form in her photo! She would do just fine in a home with other kitties, or where she is the lone kitty of the kingdom. We don't know for sure how she feels about dogs, but she would likely be fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog who gives her her space. She seems pretty adaptable, and we think that she would do great in just about any home environment. We think that Marshmellow would be a great friend for children, who are loving and kind to her. This little cutie loves to play, and her favorite toys are ones with feathers. She is also a fan of catnip too, and really gets into it when she is given some as a treat. She also loves canned food and would like to continue receiving that in her forever home. Kitties tend to not drink enough water, so by supplementing their diet with canned food, you are doing their kidneys a big favor, and making your kitty happy too! It's a win-win! Would you like to meet the fantastic Marshmellow? If so, please fill out an application and schedule a meet and greet once you are approved. You will adore this sweetie pie as much as we do!
