** In order to adopt a an un-spayed kitty from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitty and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay surgery. You may need to bring the kitty back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay surgery** This harlequin beauty is the sweet as can be, Rainbow. This sweetheart and her sister, Emerald came to us through no fault of their own, but only after their previous owner was unable to care for them any longer. This lovely lass has an estimated birthdate of 2/27/25, so she's barely one year young. Rainbow is just the sweetest kitty that you will ever meet. She loves people, loves attention and doesn't mind being picked up. She is very friendly and loves to be a part of the action, and be with her people. She's a laid back and sweet lady, and pretty low maintenance. She gets along wonderfully with the other kitties that she has met at the shelter, and would likely love to have a feline friend- perhaps her sister, Emerald! We aren't sure how she feels about dogs, but she would likely be fine with a cat-friendly and gentle dog. She would be a great companion for a single person or a family as well. Being so young and full of love and energy, she would do great in a home with kids who would love to not only play with her, but offer lots of snuggles too.
