About Pixie
** In order to adopt a kitten from HSMC, you must live within an hour of the shelter. You will initially "foster to adopt" the kitten and then the adoption will be finalized when they are brought back for their spay/neuter surgery. You may need to bring the kitten back for vaccines and exams prior to their spay/neuter surgery** This is the cute as can be, Pixie. This tiny girl, her siblings and momma were abandoned and thankfully found by a kind person who brought them to the shelter. This little sweetheart has an estimated birthdate of 1/8/26, so she's just about 9 weeks old. Since coming to us this little darling has spent time in a foster home, which is where she currently resides. She loves her siblings and would love to be adopted with one of them. Her siblings are Fairy, Griffin, Leprechaun and Unicorn. It's the ideal arrangement for her to be adopted together. Kittens adopted in pairs do better long term, are happier and have less long term behavioral issues. Plus no one can play with a kitten the way another kitten can, and you save two lives instead of one! Single Kitten Syndrome is a real thing, and no one wants a Kittenzilla in their home! Being so young, this cutie would do just fine in a home with other kitties or with gentle, cat-friendly dogs. Of course care must be taken to protect her tiny size. It's imperative to keep this little cutie from getting stepped on, injured by larger animals, or by small children who may be unintentionally rough with her. Would you like to meet the sweet as can be Pixie and hopefully a sibling as well? If so, please fill out an application and schedule a meet and greet once your application is approved! Remember that this sweetie resides in a foster home and is not at the shelter, so a meet and greet must be scheduled.
