Meet Colette: Colette is about a 1 year old (as of March 2026) hound mix (best guess) that weighs 37 pounds. Colette was found with her 2 daughters on the side of a busy highway by one of our rescuers. She turned around and pulled over to go try to get them and the little family happily followed her to her car and jumped right in. Colette is being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Colette is very loving, friendly, laid back and calm! Colette loves affection and to be petted. Colette is such a young mama and has a wonderful temperament. Colette is good with children, all people she has met and other dogs. Colette is really such a sweet dog - she loves affection and to give kisses. Colette is currently in an outdoor kennel and will need some patience while she learns house training skills. Colette is a happy and polite girl who will walk into her kennel and crate without any issues. We would love for Colette to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run and play freely. Colette is up to date on her shots and spayed. Colette did test positive for heart worms but has already started her treatments and is well on her way to a fresh start!
