Meet Cocoa: Cocoa is an 11 week old (as of February 19, 2026) beagle / hound mix (best guess) that weighs about 12 pounds. Cocoa and her sister, Mocha, were dropped off in a bad section of Memphis and luckily a friend of the rescue saw them, picked them up and contacted us. Cocoa is being fostered in the south and would love to catch the next freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families! Cocoa is a very sweet and friendly baby girl! Cocoa gets along well with the other dogs in her foster home. Cocoa loves people and really loves to play with toys and children. Cocoa does well in a crate. As a puppy, Cocoa will need some patience while she works on her house training. We would love for Cocoa to have a home with a fenced in yard for her to run, explore and play freely. Cocoa is up to date on her puppy shots and will need to be spayed when age appropriate.
