About Sebastian
Sebastian is a big-hearted senior who’s weathered more than his share of storms. Last summer, he was rescued from a woodshed, alongside his brother and ill mother. He lost his mom, but watched his brother find happiness in a new home. Now it’s Sebastian’s chance. He’s about 11, loves rolling in the snow and sinking into couches for a good cuddle. People instantly become his friends, and he lights up around them. Sebastian does well with respectful older kids—think 12 and up—but he shouldn’t live with other pets. After all he’s been through, he does have some anxiety and takes medication for it, plus he sticks to a special dry food for food sensitivities. He never had an easy life, but there’s genuine hope someone will give him the comfort and calm he’s always deserved. Ready to hit restart? Click apply to start the adoption process.

Questions about Sebastian
What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?
Sebastian, as a German Shepherd/Labrador mix, would thrive in a stable, calm home with enough space for him to relax and feel secure. This mix does well in homes that respect both his need for companionship and his sensitivity.
How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?
Sebastian would appreciate access to a secure yard or regular walks, since both German Shepherds and Labs enjoy exercise and time outdoors. He loves being outside, especially when there’s snow to roll in.
Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?
Sebastian does well with children aged 12 and up. This breed mix can be gentle and loyal, but given Sebastian’s background, a home with older, respectful children suits him best.
