Theo is still searching for a patient, loving home after being rescued from a hoarding situation in Alabama. Living in a foster home in Maine, heās gradually finding his feetāheās shy at first, but with time, he grows more confident and comfortable. Small and soft, about 20 pounds, Theo is estimated to be two years old, and his medium coat and gentle demeanor stand out. Heās mostly potty trained, though nervous or overstimulating situations can lead to accidents, but heās responsive and learns quickly. Theo walks well on leash and sleeps quietly through the night in his crate, though he may fuss about going in. Heād thrive with people home most of the time and would enjoy having a calm canine friend. He hasnāt lived with cats yet. Kids are okay if theyāre teenagers, and heās fine with the occasional visit from grandchildren. Theo craves snuggles and never says no to a game of fetchātennis balls are his favorite. Heās on medication for a managed medical condition but it doesnāt dampen his sweet, hopeful spirit. Ready for his forever home, Theo just wants the space to relax and truly belong.
