About Taco
Taco is a small Norfolk Terrier mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Picked up as a stray in San Antonio, Taco quickly became a favorite in his foster home thanks to his cheerful spirit and love for people. He enjoys racing around the yard, mingling with other dogs, and soaking up time both indoors and out. He’s engaging but has a healthy dose of independence; Taco won’t crowd your space, and he appreciates a little time to settle in. He’s completely crate trained and eager to please, making him an ideal choice for someone new to dog ownership. Potty training may need some continued work since his foster hasn't given him the chance to have accidents, but he loves treats and is catching on quickly. Taco’s coat is soft and fine—he’ll only need the occasional trim every few months. At just over a year old and about 14 pounds, he’s fully grown and won’t get bigger. Taco gets along well with other dogs and children. His name was chosen by the child who first found him, and he’s responsive and alert when called. Taco is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. If you’re looking for a laid-back yet happy pup who’s easy to train and fun to be around, Taco is waiting to meet you. Apply today to start your journey together!
