About Lucas
Click apply to start the adoption process. Meet Lucas, a happy and affectionate puppy who brings joy to everyone he encounters. Lucas thrives in his foster home, playing cheerfully with all the resident pets and displaying a gentle temperament with no aggression or guarding issues. He even shares his crate with a smaller puppy who has become his sidekick! At 36 pounds now, Lucas is expected to grow into a large-medium dog, likely reaching around 60 pounds as he matures. His appearance hints at both Rottweiler and Labrador Retriever roots, though the Rottweiler side is visually prominent. Currently, at just over four months old, Lucas is already completely crate and potty trained—he heads right for the backdoor as soon as his crate opens and loves to romp and play outdoors. Lucas adores toys, especially tug-of-war, and gets along with anyone, making him an ideal companion for families seeking a fun-loving new member. Based in a caring foster home, Lucas is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, and on preventative treatments. His rescue provides full medical records upon adoption, and transport is offered across the United States to help Lucas find his perfect home. What are you waiting for? Apply today!
