He eats well and is not picky. His current diet includes regular kibble and treats such as dried sweet potato. He eats at a relaxed pace (not a fast eater) and is very food-motivated. 🌸 Personality Daebagi is a dog-social, independent, and easygoing companion. He likes people and is friendly with everyone, but he is not overly clingy — he is perfectly happy relaxing on his own and checking in for affection when he chooses. At home, he is calm, quiet, and low-maintenance. Outdoors, he becomes much more energetic and engaged — especially when it comes to walks and meeting other dogs. 🐕 Social Behavior Daebagi is extremely interested in other dogs and will try to approach any dog he sees, regardless of size. Once he is able to greet, he typically sniffs and attempts to initiate friendly interaction. He does best with: • regular, controlled dog introductions • guidance to manage excitement on leash He has not been tested with cats. 👨‍👩‍👧 With People He is friendly with all people regardless of gender, but generally shows more interest in dogs than humans. He enjoys affection but is not demanding and does not seek constant attention. 🏠 Home Life & Routine Daebagi is a very easy dog to live with indoors. • Calm and quiet in the home • No destructive behavior observed • No aggression, biting, or guarding behaviors • Rarely barks He typically rests on his mat or rug and relaxes for most of the day. As he settled into foster care, he gradually became comfortable using the sofa and bed as well. He has no separation anxiety and can stay home alone (about 2 hours on weekdays, longer on weekends) as long as his exercise and potty needs are met. 🚽 House Training Daebagi is 100% outdoor potty trained. He requires: • At least two walks per day (morning and evening) • Outdoor access for all elimination He may mark in a new environment on the first day, but after settling in, he maintains excellent house manners with no accidents. 🚶 Walks & Activity Walks are the highlight of Daebagi’s day. He: • Has high enthusiasm at the start of walks • May pull on leash and become excited • Loves sniffing, marking, and exploring • Is very focused on other dogs during walks He does not bark on walks but may fixate on dogs from a distance and try to approach them. He can be sensitive to large vehicles and may prefer quieter walking routes.
