About Heather Locklear

Heather Locklear, a timeless beauty with a memorable name, is looking for a fresh start after her recovery journey. She spent a year with an adopter who didn’t keep up with her needs, but Heather’s since rebounded with a medical foster, weathering heartworm treatment like a champ. She’s now heartworm free and has a clean bill of health. Heather is about 6 years old and medium-sized, with a lovely tricolor coat. She’s both potty and crate trained, respectful at home, and loves car rides and food rewards. Although she gets along with calm dogs, Heather really excels as a solo pet—she can get overstimulated when sharing space or attention with other animals off leash. Cuddling is high on her list of favorite activities, and she comes ready with skills and private training sessions to help everyone settle in. Heather does well with children and would fit best in a home where she’s the star. She’s being fostered north of Boston and meet-and-greet visits can be arranged for those interested. Fun fact: Heather is an Aquarius, which makes her independent, a bit quirky, and utterly lovable. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
