Meet Milo, a handsome hound with the biggest brown eyes and a nose that can sniff out anything that's crossed his path! This 1-year-old fellow is sweet and full of love for his people. He loves to lean in and get a good rub. He is always interested in meeting new dogs, but once he's done with his sniffing, he is more interested in their owners - giving them his big brown-eyed look to win them over. He is a people pleaser! Milo is super curious about the world and follows a scent on his walks or when he is in the yard. If he hears a sound (e.g., a siren, a bird, a dog bark), he will stop in his tracks and look around in an effort to figure out what it was and who it came from, then start walking again. He is a bit of a busybody since he has to know what is going on in the neighborhood! Milo doesn't bay or bark like most hounds. He might whimper if he needs to go out, but that is about it. He has never shown interest in any dog toys. He is well-behaved in the house and can be left at home on his own. Milo loves to take walks, though he will zig-zag while on leash and requires a gentle correction to keep him from cutting in front. He is easy to correct on leash. This sweet boy would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard and humans (any age) to give him lots of love and attention. If you're looking for a laid-back, loyal, lovable hound companion, Milo is your guy!
