About Ozzy

Ozzy is a medium-sized Treeing Walker Coonhound mix in Aldie, VA, still getting his bearings in the world. New sights and sounds make him nervous, but he finds courage in tasty treats and gentle introductions. He needs a steady hand to guide him through unfamiliar things—someone patient, willing to show him there is fun around every corner. Soccer is Ozzy’s favorite game, and he can turn a chase after the ball into a display of his goofy, earnest spirit. He also loves wandering local trails and getting his fill of new scents. Ozzy does not get along with other dogs and would be happiest as the only dog in the home. Because he’s still building up his confidence, Ozzy needs a calm adult household with no children. He’s neutered and up to date on vaccinations, ready for someone experienced to help him come out of his shell. Born November 7, Ozzy is a determined and sensitive Scorpio, naturally watchful of his surroundings. Give them the home they have been waiting for. Apply today.
