At around 1 year old, she is fully grown and currently cared for at Life House Animal Refuge And Rehabilitation. Deerie is house trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccinations, ensuring she's healthy and ready for her forever home.

After surviving unthinkable conditions, she is now in a loving foster home where she's discovering how wonderful life as a cherished pet can be. Deerie is a small, 25-pound mixed breed girl who, despite her difficult beginnings—including arriving pregnant and delivering her pups just days after her rescue—has continued to show her resilient, gentle spirit. Initially quite frightened, Deerie is blossoming with the patient care of her foster family and has begun to come out of her shell. At her first adoption event, she showed everyone how far she has come. Deerie gets along well with other dogs and is learning new skills every day. With a bit of time, love, and understanding, she’s sure to become a devoted companion for the right adopter. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
