With slow movements, gentle voices, and a calm approach, you’ll quickly earn her trust… and once you do, you’ll discover the most loving, loyal girl who just wants to be near her person. She would thrive in a quieter home, ideally with older children (12+) who understand how to respect her space and let her come to them on her terms. Amber isn’t asking for much—just patience, kindness, and someone willing to meet her where she is. She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and enjoys their company, often finding comfort in a canine friend. And if there’s one thing Amber truly lives for, it’s soaking up the sunshine. Amber does have some mobility limitations in her back end, so a home without stairs would help her stay comfortable and confident as she moves around.
