About Cooper
Cooper is an outgoing, lively black Lab mix who never passes up a chance to make a new friend. He’s got a lot of energy and isn’t shy about telling you how excited he is—he’s pretty vocal and lets you know when it’s time for a walk or a round of fetch. Cooper is happiest with a toy in his mouth and a little dog to romp around with; he’s especially fond of smaller canine companions. He’s the social type, eager to hang out with people and animals of all kinds, and gets along with kids, dogs, and even cats. While he does have some separation anxiety, he settles into new routines in time when given enough patience, love, and plenty of treats. Cooper has spent a stretch at the sanctuary, so he might need a bit of adjustment before he really relaxes in a new home, but he’s worth the effort for someone willing to give him a chance.
