Ruby Jo absolutely adores people—she thrives on attention and will happily roll over for endless belly rubs whenever you’re willing to give them. She’s not just cute—she’s also well-mannered! Ruby Jo walks nicely on a leash and is doing well on house-training. She loves other dogs and kids, too! She came to us as an owner surrender after needing surgery to correct a vaginal prolapse, and she’s been doing wonderfully since. Ruby Jo is ready for a fresh start with a family who will shower her with love, laughter, and all the cuddles she deserves. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. Our adoption fee is $850. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
