Mumble is a sweet, rambunctious boy with a big personality and even bigger puppy energy! He would thrive in a very active household that’s ready to keep up with his playful spirit and give him plenty of outlets for both physical and mental stimulation. Mumble does extremely well with other dogs, especially those who enjoy an energetic playmate. Because his puppy energy is above average, he may not be the best fit for senior or low-energy dogs who prefer a calmer, quieter environment. This goofy guy has his quirks—he loves bananas but is not a fan of blueberries! He does fairly well in the car, though he may whine a bit, and he’s a known door- and car-dasher, so precautions are important. He should always be leashed when exiting cars or going through doorways. On walks, he may occasionally chew on his leash, but overall he’s doing well and continues to learn. Mumble is a curious explorer and will happily help himself to your houseplants, so a home with lots of plants should take extra care—especially since some plants can be toxic to dogs. He will need lots of durable chew toys to keep him busy and redirect him from chewing on things he shouldn’t. He’s currently learning to potty outside and is not 100% house-trained yet. He’s also working on crate training and continues to make progress with consistency and patience. Overall, Mumble is a fantastic puppy who would flourish with someone who has the time, energy, and dedication to guide a very sweet and very active boy as he grows. With the right home, Mumble is sure to be an incredibly fun and loving companion.
