About Faith
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Faith is a lovely 2-year-old Australian Shepherd mix who is searching for a patient and understanding adopter. At first, she can be quite reserved and prefers to observe from a distance, but once she trusts you, her sweetness truly shines through. Because she needs time to warm up, staff may require you to visit her multiple times before completing an adoption, allowing Faith to feel comfortable at her own pace. Given her breed and independent personality, Faith will thrive with someone who has experience with Australian Shepherds or similar breeds such as heelers, German Shepherds, or border collies. Her new family must also have older teenagers (16+) since Faith is easily startled by noisy or unpredictable situations. She’s currently on a weight loss journey and, while her beautiful coat may hide her progress, she will benefit greatly from engaging exercise and an active lifestyle. If you are interested in learning more about Faith or would like to meet her, the kennel staff at Virginia Beach SPCA will happily provide more information and guide you through the next steps. They are ready to love you; are you ready to apply?
