VADER - 1 1/2 yrs old, 45 pounds, house trained, playful, guarding tendencies for high value items, needs only pet home Still very much a puppy at heart, Vader ended up in shelter life and he's ready to leave it behind. He adores his humans. Emoji Tennis balls and all kinds of toys are his love language. He'll want to sleep next to you, cuddle on the couch, and follow you from room to room. A family who can channel that big energy and keep him company is all this boy needs. Friendly and playful with other dogs, Vader has his quirks. (We all do, right?) He has shown he will guard those items he feels are high value. This is a behavior that can be managed and we are happy to give advice if you need it, but for this reason, Vader needs to go to an only pet home. He can be standoffish with certain new people and might need space while getting used to them. Treats again help a lot! Vader is a lovable and smart, sometimes a little too smart for his own good!
