About Bluegrass
your new best friend is just one click away. Meet Bluegrass! This gentle lad was transferred to the rescue from a local shelter with his best friend Cody, and they are both eager to begin a fresh chapter filled with love and patience. Cody and Bluegrass are quite timid and nervous around new people and places, and their bond with one another is so strong that they must be adopted together. Given their sensitive nature, a home with children ages 6 and up is recommended, although families with younger kids and experience with shy, nervous dogs may also be considered. Bluegrass and Cody are exceptionally sweet and loving Australian Shepherd mixes who would thrive with a patient adopter willing to help grow their confidence. Any new introductions—to people, places, or other animals—should be taken slowly to ensure their comfort. As their previous history is unknown, their future adopter should be ready to start or reintroduce potty and house training, and crate training is highly encouraged. Bluegrass and Cody are in need of a special, understanding home ready to dedicate the time and love required for them to flourish as part of the family. The kennel team is available to answer any questions when you come to visit. click apply and let the tail-wagging begin!
