About Chaney
Meet Chaney! Chaney is a 2-year-old Pit Bull mix weighing around 40 pounds, full of enthusiasm and affection. With her joyful energy, she’s happiest leaning her whole body into you for pets and cuddles. She brings nonstop fun—zoomies, playtime, and excitement are her specialties—but her heart stays gentle and loving underneath her outgoing personality. House-trained and crate-trained, Chaney has experience living with another dog. She would love a canine sibling to play with and gets along well with other playful pups. She does well riding in the car and has a soft spot for daycare adventures with her dog pals. Chaney can be a bit of a chewer, so sturdy toys and guidance will help her stay on track. She’s still working on leash manners and could use a family committed to ongoing training and structure. Her excitable energy means she’ll thrive with lots of exercise and positive outlets. In her recent stay with a volunteer, Chaney respected the yard, enjoyed cuddle time, and proved herself both house- and crate-trained. She can be reactive on leash just from excitement but walks well overall. Chaney must have a chicken-free diet due to allergies. She’s looking for an active home ready to keep her busy—and happy—with play, snuggles, and patience. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
