About Ink
Meet Ink- Looking for a Team Captain to Call His Own! Ink is a 3-year-old Pitbull weighing in at about 70 pounds of pure enthusiasm and love. He came to us after being surrendered by his owner due to unfortunate circumstances, and while change can be hard, Ink is ready to start his next chapter with a family who will embrace his energy and zest for life. This handsome, athletic boy previously lived with other dogs and has enjoyed canine companionship. He absolutely lives for a good game of fetch — tennis balls and frisbees are his favorites! Ink’s excitement can sometimes get the best of him when bringing toys back, so he’ll need continued guidance on keeping his cool during playtime. With consistency and positive reinforcement, he’s eager to learn. The good news is he’s very treat motivated! Ink is a high-energy guy who will thrive in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation. Long walks, structured play sessions, and ongoing training will help him be his very best self. Because of his size and enthusiastic nature, he may do best in a home with older children who can handle his joyful exuberance. Ink is smart, fun, and full of potential — he just needs a committed family ready to invest in him. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will keep you moving and make every day a little more exciting, Ink might be your guy! Visit STAF.org for more information on our adoption process and our adoption application. *** Email adoptadog@STAF.org for next steps! *** • All of our animals are spayed/neutered and current on shots. • We do not do same-day adoptions. You will be asked to return for at least one follow-up visit, then take the dog home for a trial period before officially adopting. • You must be 21 years or older to adopt from STAF. • Due in part to increasing coyote activity/incidents in the area and the difficulty of predicting how a dog will respond to invisible fence training, we can not adopt to homes with invisible fences. • We do request vet and personal references. • We can facilitate adoptions within a 30-mile radius of our Cincinnati-based shelter.
