About Blackie
Meet Blackie. Happy, lovable, and always ready to chase off those pesky backyard squirrels, Blackie has a no-fuss approach to life—play hard, relax harder. He’s a 10-month-old Corgi/Beagle mix with a glossy black short coat and real Goldilocks sizing—not too big, not too small. Blackie is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and fully house trained, so he’s truly set to settle right in. Blackie thrives with other dogs, but also gets along confidently with cats and people; he’s not currently living with kids, but has the temperament to win over just about anyone. His energy burns bright outdoors, loving leash walks, yard zoomies, or playing tug with a canine buddy. But he also appreciates winding down at your side, content to nap or join you for a TV marathon. Evenings? He’s quiet and well-behaved through the night. His past was rough—rescued from a run-down trailer in Tennessee—but you’d never guess it from his joy and resilience. Whether you’re looking for a playmate for your current dog, or a devoted solo companion, Blackie fits the bill. Up for a car ride or new adventure, this cheerful guy is eager for his next chapter.
