About Manny
Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now! Meet Manny, a charming 12-year-old Corgi mix who weighs in at 20 pounds. With his adorable medium-length black and tan coat and gentle spirit, Manny is hoping to find a loving home to enjoy his golden years. He is both house trained and very affectionate, easily getting along with other dogs and cats. Manny is blind, but he navigates his environment—stairs included—with impressive confidence. Manny’s history is one of overcoming neglect, which means he is still cautious in new situations and has a unique trigger: gates of any kind make him nervous. Because of his sensitivity, his adopters should expect several meet-and-greet visits to help him feel comfortable. He will also need to be adopted within a 50-mile radius of Flossmoor, IL. He's microchipped, up to date on vaccines and monthly preventatives, and recently had a dental.
