About Cash
Cash is a senior Golden Retriever/Shar-Pei mix, born in early 2016, and he’s hoping to find a home with folks who appreciate an older dog’s charm. You won’t need to work for his affection—Cash is a genuine people dog. He gets along wonderfully with children and strangers, and he’s happiest when he’s close to his people, always ready for pets, belly rubs, and long cuddle sessions. He often nudges in for more attention, pressing his head into you if you stop petting him too soon. Though calm and loving most of the time, Cash isn’t short on energy and will happily join you for daily walks or a ride in the car. He’s house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, knows some commands, and doesn’t bark—a rare trait for a dog his size. Cash enjoys exploring the backyard but has little interest in toys, preferring to soak up time with his people instead. When excited, he may jump a little, but he’s gentle and never jumps on anyone. Cash doesn’t get along with other dogs or cats, so he’ll need to be your only animal. He’s looking for a home (not an apartment) with a fenced yard and a routine where his humans are home more often than not. He appreciates quiet meals and a comfy spot to stretch out on the floor. As a Pisces, Cash has a soft, affectionate nature—a loyal companion waiting to shine in his next chapter. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
