About Danny

Start your journey together! Apply now. Danny is a Lab/Staffordshire Terrier mix who, at just over four years old, is ready to find his forever home with an active and loving family. Raised in a foster home, he’s matured out of the puppy stage but still cherishes cuddling on the couch and lounging in his crate with a favorite bone or puzzle toy. Danny enjoys the company of both dog and cat siblings, so he’d fit in well with another canine companion or as a solo pet, as long as feline friends respect his space. Danny thrives on adventure, loving long walks and even the excitement of car rides—especially when a tasty treat is involved at the drive-through. While he finds meeting new people and dogs a bit nerve-wracking, he shows a desire to continue learning and growing with his new family. Apartment living isn’t ideal for Danny; he’ll blossom most in a home with space to explore and active humans. Please note: Before applying, be sure to check any local breed-specific legislation regarding Pit Bulls, and applicants must live within 50 miles of the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. Meet-and-greets and adoptions will take place in person locally. Meet Danny and discover a true companion for all your day-to-day adventures! Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
