Danny is a Lab/Staffordshire Terrier mix who’s about five and a half years old and looking for an active home around Council Bluffs, IA. He’s past the puppy stage but hasn’t lost his love for snuggling on the couch with his person. Danny’s crate is his safe hangout, especially when his foster family is out—give him a bone or puzzle toy, and he’s good for a while. He gets along well with other dogs and is fine with cats, as long as they keep their distance. New faces and dogs can make him a bit uneasy, so he’s not cut out for apartment living and does best in a patient home that will help him keep building confidence. Car rides and exploring are favorites; drive-throughs with treats are a close second. If you’re up for walks and new experiences, Danny might just be your adventure buddy.
