A SWEET & FUN FELLOW: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 30 lbs. Hello – I’m Scamp! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control with a cherry eye that needed repair and thankfully that’s been done for me. You may notice that in some of my pics, pre-surgery, but I’m good to go now! I’ll just need medicated eye drops several times a day until the 1st or 2nd week in April. I can’t wait to meet my new family and start the good life that awaits me! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met other dogs at Mostly Mutts, and though I wasn’t ready to play yet, I also didn’t show any aggression. Also, I came in with another dog, so if you have a dog at home already, let’s meet. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a very sweet and playful guy with a super cute underbite. For one so young, I have a fairly calm and gentle demeanor – so easy to love! I came to Mostly Mutts quite nervous, but the volunteers went to work making me feel safe and loved by using calm, quiet energy with me and taking their time. I’m feeling more confident and sprinting around the play yard like I own it now! A delightful little fellow, I am sure to steal your heart! / Energy level: 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘stay’ and ‘come’ commands, and I look forward to learning more. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy stretching my legs and running around with the volunteers in the play yard. Walks with the volunteers are great, too, and I can show off my pretty good leash manners. At mealtimes, I enjoy a little water on my kibble, please. I’m sure we’ll discover lots of other things we like doing together once I’m in my new home. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I was uncomfortable with restraint during my vetting, so a muzzle can be used during that time. Due to my cherry eye surgery, I’ll need medicated eye drops several times a day until the 1st or 2nd week of April and these can be done in my new home – just ask about this. I am looking for a wonderful home with a loving family for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
