Queen came to us as an owner surrender after her family faced homelessness. Despite the big changes in her life, she remains a friendly, loving girl who just needs a little time to feel safe again. Queen is happiest soaking up attention—ear rubs and belly scratches will have her flopping right down. She loves cozy movie time, daily walks, playing fetch, and squeaky toys. She’s non-destructive in the home, easy to leash, and enjoys getting out for adventures, though she can be timid at first and may take her time warming up. Loud, fast-moving cars can make her a bit nervous, and the shelter environment has been overwhelming for her, so she’ll need a patient home that allows her to settle in at her own pace. Once she feels comfortable, Queen is incredibly affectionate—she loves hugs, gives sweet "hugs" of her own, and is very devoted to her people.
