Rockette is a one-year-old, 26-pound brindle mix with the ears of a fairy-tale deer and absolutely no concept of personal space. She will explode into the most feral zoomies you have ever witnessed — tail tucked, eyes somewhere between delighted and unhinged — and then immediately collapse into your lap (or the nearest stranger's lap) like this is simply how polite society functions. She walks nicely on leash, knows her commands, and shows signs of being house-trained.
