LuLu is a 3-year-old, petite sweetie with velvety soft fur and stunning green-grey eyes. Despite her permanently wary expression, she has never once met a stranger. She greets everyone — dogs, adults, children — with a wide smile and a wildly wagging tail. Her most favorite thing is a good booty scritch, after which she charges up like she runs on cuddle-powered batteries and springs into the air with the most joyful little hops, like she genuinely can't believe she's this lucky to be loved. Otherwise she's a pretty cool customer — never pulling on leash, just happily trotting along beside you taking in all the smells. She's the kind of dog who settles immediately in the car and makes a dozen new friends on a patio without even trying. It's almost hard to believe a dog this easy, this affectionate, and this genuinely good is still waiting for her person — but here she is. Overlooked but not hopeless, fully charged and ready to go home once and for all.
