Rescued from the shelter, she’s already proving that her name fits her perfectly— this happy girl brings brightness, laughter, and plenty of playful mischief wherever she goes! Daily Routine & Typical Day Sunshine is an early riser and rarely sleeps past 7:00 a.m.(very typical for a young puppy!). Her day begins with a potty break in the yard followed by breakfast between 7:00–8:00 a.m. Since she is still too young to venture out on walks, her days are spent safely at home exploring her surroundings. She enjoys alternating between bursts of playtime and frequent puppy naps— either relaxing in her playpen or snoozing beside her foster family while they work. She has lunch around noon, followed by another potty break, then continues her daily adventures of sniffing every corner of the house and playing with her toys. Dinner is served around 5:00 p.m., and in the evening she likes to wind down in the living room with her foster dad before settling in for the night. Personality: A Happy, Curious, Busy Little Pup Sunshine has been friendly and affectionate from day one. As she’s grown more comfortable in her foster home, her confidence has blossomed. She’s learning to relax in her playpen and is becoming more independent with each passing day. She enjoys being close to her people and will happily curl up between your legs or sit on your lap— but true to her puppy nature, she doesn’t stay still for long! Every now and then, especially in the evenings, she’ll surprise you with a sweet cuddle session in her foster dad’s arms. Sunshine is curious, social, and always on the move—s he’s the kind of puppy who keeps life fun and full of laughter. Dog, Cat & Kid Friendliness Sunshine currently lives with an 8-year-old, 25-pound dog and absolutely adores her. She follows her foster sister everywhere, playfully nibbling and barking to invite her to join in the fun. While her older foster sibling prefers a calmer lifestyle, Sunshine remains cheerful and respectful. She has not yet met cats or children, but her friendly and curious nature suggests she has great potential to adapt with proper introductions. Her crate training is also improving nicely. Feeding her meals in the crate has helped her build positive associations, and she can now settle calmly inside to sleep. With continued patience and consistency, she will continue to thrive. She’s also relatively quiet for a puppy and usually only barks if another dog starts barking first. What Makes Sunshine Special Sunshine has a magical way of brightening the room with her playful spirit and happy personality. She doesn’t ask for much— just love, guidance, and a little patience while she figures out the world. In return, she’ll give you endless entertainment, puppy kisses, and joyful energy. And one of her cutest quirks? Her left ear pops straight up whenever she hears an interesting sound—it’s absolutely adorable and guaranteed to make you smile. If you’re looking for a cheerful, lively little companion who will fill your home with laughter, Sunshine is ready to shine her light into your life.
