About Gigi
Gigi came from a remote shelter after a long stint of being neglected—she arrived matted, dirty, and needed immediate help. At first, estimates of her age varied but the vet feels she is a senior. She’s already had over $1,000 in vet work and many tests. Gigi has double cataracts and limited vision, though she moves well, manages stairs, and gets around confidently both indoors and on walks. She’s dog-friendly, easygoing, and enjoys being part of everyday life, eagerly greeting people and doing a little happy roll when it’s mealtime. Medical needs are real for Gigi: she needs dental work, a spay, and removal of a belly lump for biopsy. Cataract surgery is an option, but it’s a significant investment; new eye drops and good food are being tried first. Despite her issues, her attitude is determined and sweet—she does well with other dogs and is friendly with people, including at her foster’s work studio. This is a small dog who just wants comfort, food, and love. She’s house trained, spayed, vaccinated, and gets along with both dogs and cats. Ready to offer Gigi a loving spot to call home?
