About Honey

Honey is exactly as sweet as her name suggests. This young Jack Russell Terrier mix is about a year old and weighs just 29 lbs, finished off with a sleek short coat in white, cream, and black. She’s fantastic with dogs of all sizes, fits right in with cats, and does well around older kids. She still has plenty of playful energy and tends to jump, so she’s not a great match for homes with toddlers. Honey is comfortable around farm animals in her foster home. She’s both crate and house trained, and although shy or nervous when meeting new people, she warms up pretty fast. She needs a fenced yard and will do best in a house with at least one other playful dog. If you’re looking for a lovely dog who just needs a little time to trust, Honey could be the perfect fit. Your new best friend is just one click away.

Questions about Honey

  • What type of living environment is this breed usually best suited for?

Honey, being a Jack Russell Terrier mix, is most comfortable in an environment where she can be active—ideally a house with a securely fenced yard. Apartments may be less suitable unless she gets enough structured exercise.

  • How much outdoor space does this breed typically need?

Jack Russell Terriers like Honey thrive with access to a yard for regular play and exploration. They require daily exercise, so a home with outdoor space or close access to parks is best.

  • Is this breed typically suitable for homes with children?

Honey’s breed is generally friendly with children, and she specifically gets along with older kids. Due to her playful jumping, she is not best suited for homes with small children.
