About Oscar
Meet Oscar, our Miracle Boy! This adorable young dog was hit by a car but a Good Samaritan rescued him and brought him to a local shelter. We couldn’t turn our backs on this charming little guy. Oscar is approximately 15 months old and weighs about 28 lbs. He is both crate and house trained, making him an excellent co-pilot in the car. Oscar is friendly with dogs, cats, and kids, bringing joy to everyone he meets. Despite his leg injury, he loves to run and play with larger dogs. He will begin physical therapy soon, so we seek an adopter who lives near Atlanta or Northeast Georgia for easy follow-up appointments at UGA as he strengthens his leg. This delightful dog would thrive in a loving family environment, and he could also make a wonderful companion for an older couple or individual. All our Wigglers, including Oscar, are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, tested and treated for heartworm, and on preventatives. To adopt, we require documentation showing two consecutive years of heartworm prevention for already owned pets along with up-to-date vaccinations and spay/neuter records. Oscar’s adoption fee is $400. Click apply to start the adoption process.
