About Ricky Bobby
Ricky Bobby is a goofy pekingese that has been through a lot recently. He was adopted 5 years ago but returned to us at the beginning of March 2026 because his previous guardian was hospitalized and passed away soon after. Ricky is missing his left eye and has a large cataract in his right eye, but he gets around with no trouble. He loves to sleep and relax inside but as soon as it’s time to go outside he runs as fast as his little legs will let him. He has arthritis in his back legs and is indefinitely on a daily supplement for it. He will require daily exercise to maintain a healthy weight for his breed and regular grooming. Ricky would prefer to avoid losing another parent and find his forever home. He is estimated to be around 9 years old as of 3/25/26. If you would like to meet this special dog, please email dogs@lunashouse.org to get more information. Or you can complete an adoption application which is linked on the main adoptable dogs page on the website. Please be patient to hear from us as we are all volunteers and may not be able to respond immediately. Our volunteers make sure just the right home is chosen so they require a home visit to make sure there are no safety issues. You must live within a 50 mile radius of our location in order to be considered. The adoption fee is $250 and includes vaccines, flea prevention treatment, neuter/spay, and micro chipping. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each dog based on personality and temperament, not breed label.
