Cedric is a happy, bouncy terrier mix with a wire coat and a shining personality. He loves spending time with people and brings positive energy wherever he goes. Cedric charms just about everyone he meets, thanks to his sweet and playful spirit. He prefers a home where someone is around much of the day, as he tends to get anxious when left alone, sometimes expressing it vocally. Because he can be barky, a single-family home or a place without shared walls is likely a better fit. Health-wise, Cedric’s needs aren’t extensive but do ask for an adopter who can monitor a few medical quirks. He has a grade 2 heart murmur that doesn’t cause him trouble now but will need casual tracking by his vet. His collapsed trachea makes for a distinctive cough but isn’t currently giving him any trouble; it just sounds a bit like a goose. He also tested positive for Lyme disease in the past but had a full course of antibiotics and hasn’t shown symptoms. Cedric once had a suspicious cyst on his throat, but it was removed and turned out to be harmless. He’s still learning the ropes with housebreaking and will need patience in his new home. Cedric is around 9 years old and has a lot of love to give. All applicants must live within 50 miles of Edgewood, MD, and a home visit is required for adoption.
