At just 5 months old, Mason has already overcome more than most dogs ever will. After suffering eye trauma, Mason lost both of his eyes and is now completely blind-but don't tell him that. This resilient little guy is full of joy, curiosity, and puppy energy, and he's learning to navigate the world in his own amazing way. Mason is doing great in his crate and keeps it clean overnight like a champ. He's still working on house training (those cold days and recovery time didn't help!), but he understands what to do when taken outside-he just needs consistency and patience as he continues to learn. He would absolutely love a dog sibling! Mason is a typical bouncy, mouthy puppy who adores other dogs, especially those who are gentle and tolerant of puppy antics. A confident, patient dog in the home would help him continue to build skills and confidence. Despite his lack of vision, Mason gets around impressively well. He may bump into things here and there, but it never slows him down. He loves toys that make noise, sticks close to his people, and is already great at coming when called. He's a quiet boy overall, only barking when someone comes to the door. New environments can be a little overwhelming-especially with all the unfamiliar sounds-so he's still getting used to walks on a leash. But give him a fenced yard, and he's in his element! He also does well with respectful kids and has shown appropriate curiosity around cats (lots of sniffing, no chasing).
