Brutus, Male, 3 years old Brutus is a LOVE!!!! Big, brindle Brutus is a loving, friendly, 3 year old pittie mix that was adopted from FAPL as an adorable puppy and now back due to no fault of his own. Brutus just isn’t looking for a home, he’s looking for his person and someone that will promise to love and care for him as he so deserves. Brutus lived with another dog previously and is so appreciative of any love you give him! With his size, a home without young children would be best. He just can’t wait to find a forever home!! Brutus spent some quiet time away from the shelter and this is from his loving foster: “Brutus is a big sleeper and loves to cuddle! He is very good in his cage and will sleep through the night. He sometimes gets startled at night by other dogs barking or any loud noise and will bark at them. He loves playing with other dogs and likes being with them. Brutus has had no accidents in the house. What a great house guest he has been!” No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are on a first-come, first-served basis, by visiting the shelter. Applications are not accepted in advance, but will be filled out upon adoption. If you have another dog and/or children in your family and are interested in adopting a FAPL dog, please bring them with you for a meet and greet. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Dogs 7 months and older are heartworm tested. Upon visiting FAPL, if you don’t see a particular dog you are looking for that is on the website, please ask at the front desk.
