About Tula
What are you waiting for? Apply today! Meet Tula, a resilient and loving pit bull terrier who's ready for her forever home. She’s around 3 years old, up to date on all her vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and both house and crate trained. Tula was found struggling on the streets of Detroit, pregnant and wary of people. With the patience and care of a kind woman and a dedicated foster family, she learned to trust and blossomed into a healthy girl, now weighing about 50 lbs. Her shorter stature and comical zoomies might remind you of a little piggy, and her snoring only adds to her charm. Tula enjoys her walks and is excellent on a leash. She’ll happily don a sweater or pajamas—and while she sometimes gets carsick, her love for rides is unchanged. She’s met a cat and, with proper introductions and supervision, might get along well with feline friends. While unfamiliar with most dogs due to her unique past, she may befriend them in time with patience. Tula is great with women, a bit slow to warm up to men, and would thrive in a home with older, respectful children since little ones can be intimidating for her. After a tough start in life, she’s excited to find a loving family willing to give her all the affection and patience she deserves. If she's not your perfect match, please share her story—her forever family is out there. Make their next chapter their best one yet.
