AvailableGarth & Castiel are large, adult, short, and stocky bonded male Pit Bull Terrier/American Staffordshire Terrier mixes. About Garth & Castiel
What are you waiting for? Apply today! February marks three years of Garth & Castiel waiting patiently in rescue, and this duo truly deserves for 2026 to be their year. These bonded senior boys—likely father and son or maybe brothers—must be adopted together to keep their incredible bond intact. Now six and eight years old, Garth & Castiel were rescued from tough circumstances in Detroit and are fully vetted, healthy, and ready for a loving home. Compact and stocky at about 65 pounds each, they have an easygoing, moderate energy that makes them wonderful companions for cuddle sessions, playtime, or just relaxing at your side. They are dog social with proper, slow introductions and thrive in a home without cats or tiny dogs. Because their connection is unbreakable, they cannot be split up. Foster-to-adopt is welcome, giving everyone time to adjust and settle in comfortably. If you have room in your heart and home for two loving seniors, Garth & Castiel could be the happy ending you’ve been searching for. Did you know that with a January 22nd birthday, they're Aquarians? Aquarians are known for their loyalty and unique charm, just like these boys! Start your journey together! Apply now.
