True to his name, he’s already proving to be a crowd favorite— no late fees, no rewinding required, just a steady stream of loyalty, fun, and cuddles. Rescued from the shelter, Blockbuster settled into foster life with ease and has been winning hearts ever since. He’s a bright, affectionate puppy with a playful spirit and a surprisingly easygoing nature, making him a wonderful addition to many types of homes. Daily Routine & Life at Home Blockbuster is an early riser who enjoys starting his day alongside his family. Each morning, he heads out to the backyard for a quick potty break, then comes inside for breakfast and hangs out while everyone gets ready for the day. During the day, he relaxes in a playpen area with access to a doggy door, giving him the freedom to go in and out as he pleases. On work-from-home days, he likes to check in periodically, but he’s also perfectly content entertaining himself outdoors— running around, playing with toys, or simply soaking up the sunshine. He gets plenty of exercise in the backyard, along with occasional walks to explore the neighborhood. In the evening, he enjoys dinner and family time indoors before settling into his playpen for the night, where he sleeps soundly until morning. Personality: Sweet, Smart, and Nicely Balanced Blockbuster is a very sweet puppy who warmed up to his foster family right away. From day one, he showed a comfortable, confident demeanor, and his playful personality continues to blossom as he grows. He strikes a wonderful balance between affectionate and independent. When his people are busy, he’s happy to play on his own. But when it’s time to relax, he loves to run over, hop into a lap, and settle in for cuddles. One of his favorite routines is coming inside after outdoor playtime, climbing into a lap, and melting into a big hug. Like many puppies, he can get excited when meeting new people and may jump up to say hello, but he’s eager to learn and responds well to guidance. Energy Level & Play Style Blockbuster is playful and energetic, as you’d expect from a young pup, but he’s not over-the-top. He enjoys activity and playtime, then transitions easily into relaxation mode. He’s just as happy chasing toys in the yard as he is lounging on the couch next to his people. He loves chew toys and squeaky toys and may occasionally dig in the backyard—likely investigating imaginary treasures left behind by previous canine explorers. Walking & Social Skills Blockbuster walks very nicely on leash and tends to stay close to his handler, often right beside or slightly behind. In new environments, he can be a bit cautious at first, which helps him stay attentive and connected during walks. As he becomes more familiar with an area, he may test the leash occasionally, but he responds well to simple corrections. He shows interest in other dogs when out and about but does not react strongly or engage in unwanted behavior. At home, he is generally quiet and does not bark indoors, though he may alert in the backyard if other dogs pass by. Kids & Companionship Blockbuster has spent time around children, particularly around age 11, and does very well with them. He enjoys their playful energy and happily joins in games and activities. While he currently lives without other pets, he has shown polite curiosity toward dogs on walks and has the potential to do well with a canine companion, especially with proper introductions. House Training & Home Manners Blockbuster is doing wonderfully with housetraining and is a quick learner. After a few initial accidents, he has gone an entire week without any incidents. He picked up the doggy door quickly and uses it reliably. He also does well in a crate for car rides and settles calmly in his playpen at night. Overall, he’s a bright young dog who is eager to learn and responds beautifully to consistency and routine. Why You’ll Love Blockbuster Blockbuster is the total package: clever, affectionate, playful, and easy to live with. He’s the kind of dog who will happily entertain himself when needed but will never pass up the chance to curl up in your lap for a cuddle. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who brings both fun and comfort to everyday life, Blockbuster is ready to make his debut in your home— and trust us, this is one blockbuster you’ll want to watch again and again.
