Cedar has waited longer than his siblings to find a family, but that hasn't dulled his spirit. Rescued at just 4 months old in April 2024, Cedar took his time to warm up, but now he adores being outside, is curious, and has a playful streak—especially when he’s with other dogs. He’s a bright pup, having figured out the dog door all on his own, and being food motivated makes training easier. He’s both crate and house trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. Cedar is shy with new people, yet every day, he builds his trust with humans a little more. For a dog who survived a tough start and was once fearful, he’s shown real resilience. Originally saved from the Coachella Valley Animal Shelter, Cedar’s journey is one of quiet bravery. He’s looking for a home willing to give him time to relax, decompress, and continue growing his confidence.
