About Rainpetal
Rainpetal A183240 51 lb. spayed female, approx 3 years old -Super sweet girl! -Out in the yard she had fun playing with some toys and rolling around on her back -Inside she was all about snuggles and snacks! -She initially didn't understand "sit" but seems to be picking it up already. -She has no idea how to take a treat from your hand quite yet, but she awkwardly tries -I engaged in play (bowing at her) and she got super excited and started pawing at me. She didn't quite know how to play with me, but I think she'll be super playful once comfortable and more experienced! -She enjoys pets and being close! -She walks very nicely on leash -She definitely hasn't had a lot of life experiences up until now it seems, and needs to learn how "to dog" still, but she is so very sweet and adorable! -Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids *Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt *Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. *Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. *There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. *To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** *The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
