About Dax
Dax is a compact little Chihuahua who trekked all the way from Mexico to Rochester, MN, and now he just wants a warm lap and a soft blanket to call his own. Weighing in at about seven pounds, Dax takes his role as a snuggler seriously—his favorite spot is right under the covers, pressed up against his person. He’s kennel trained and starting to get the hang of his potty routine, though he’s still fine-tuning that skill. The doggy door? He’s a pro. Dax does great with other dogs, especially smaller breeds, and would happily share his space or soak up all the attention for himself. His bond with other pups runs deep—his best friend Schwinn made the journey with him. Dax brings a quirky little swagger with his stiff-legged walk, making his every move a bit more endearing. He also has a specific yard routine after potty time, taking his dirt-scratching duties pretty seriously. Friendly, happy, and always up for a cuddle, Dax’s foster family will have a tough time parting with this little guy. Born March 5th, Dax is a Pisces—a true romantic at heart. If you want a loyal, affectionate, and delightfully odd companion, Dax might be your perfect match. Your new best friend is just one click away.
