About Aspen
Aspen is a playful, sweet-natured shepherd/lab mix puppy ready to find her forever home in Washington, DC. At about four months old, she's all about making new friends—whether they're dogs, cats, or kids—especially if there's an opportunity for puppy zoomies or a cozy nap on a giant stuffed toy. She may be a bit shy at first but quickly warms up, gaining confidence every day and showing off her expressive face and willingness to please. Aspen loves hanging out with people and especially enjoys curling up with her sister Ava, but she's ready for a family of her own. She will need lots of breaks throughout the day as she learns the ropes of house training. Aspen requires a family who can keep up with active puppy needs and patiently help her continue to grow in confidence, ideally with plenty of opportunities for socialization, playtime, and snuggles between bursts of energy. She’s started her vaccines, is already spayed, and aims to win your heart one wag at a time. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply now!
