AvailableLulu is a medium-sized, spayed female Shepherd mix currently in Washington, DC. She is about 3 years and 9 months old, house trained, and up to date on her vaccinations. Her humble beginnings haven’t dimmed her loyal spirit.
About Lulu
Lulu had a tough start to life, spending over a year living in a grocery store parking lot and doing her best to keep her two puppies safe from the world. She was that elusive shepherd mix folks spotted on Facebook—impossible to catch, but devoted as they come. Earning her trust took patience, but it was worth every minute: Lulu has a big heart, and she fiercely loves those she calls family. At 2 years old, Lulu is settling well into life off the streets. She’s house trained, picks up commands easily, and knows how to sit. She can be shy at first but warms up into a loyal, goofy, playful companion who loves a good game of catch and spending time with other dogs. Lulu is spayed and up-to-date on vaccinations. While she is heartworm positive, her treatment is fully covered by K-9 Lifesavers, so she’ll soon be ready for a healthy, happy future. Given all she’s been through, Lulu deserves a family willing to give her patience, kindness, and plenty of treats. This girl’s journey took her from survival mode to dreaming of soft beds and snacks, and she’s ready to give back all the love she’s got. Ready to fall in love? Hit apply and lets get started.
