He ‘s always up for a walk or an adventure, but he thrives when he can spend lots of time playing with his doggy friends. Dove is the perfect mix of affectionate and independent and would be a wonderful addition to any home. Dove loves all humans and dogs. He's an observant boy and sometimes wants a moment to take in new situations, but he is always excited to make new friends. Dove has met older kids and had a great time playing with them, and he would likely do well with kids of any age who want a fun companion to play with. He hasn't met cats yet, but he is gentle and would likely do fine with proper introductions. Dove's favorite thing is to play with his buddies, but sometimes he'll choose to spend time alone and keep himself busy with a toy! Dove is a crate-training champ. He is crated consistently during the day and overnight, and he likes to have cozy blankets and a pile of toys with him so he can settle in and enjoy his alone time. Dove is also house trained, and with a consistent schedule for bathroom breaks he almost never has accidents. He would usually choose a backyard play romp over a leash walk, but Dove is excited to perfect his leash skills in his new home so he can explore the world.
